HubSpot + Syspro integration
Syspro holds the account, its credit terms, the sales order and stock by warehouse. How each reaches HubSpot through OData and e.net, in hours.

Is there an official Syspro + HubSpot integration?
Not from HubSpot or Syspro. The HubSpot App Marketplace lists one third-party app as of September 2026, SYSPRO 7 & 8 SYNC, Data Lake, AI, MCP by Commercient. We recommend a custom API integration that reads Syspro OData on a schedule and posts approved orders through e.net business objects, at 70 to 150 build hours. It needs the Data Connector - OData licence, and releases before SYSPRO 8 2021 R2 read through query business objects instead.

Why teams connect Syspro to HubSpot
Syspro runs the back office of a mid-sized manufacturer or distributor: the customer account with its credit limit and terms, the quote that converts into a sales order, the blanket order with its call-offs, and the stock in each warehouse. It also ships its own Contact Management module, which syncs contacts with Outlook and hands converted prospects to sales order processing. So the question is rarely whether Syspro can hold customer data, and usually which team works in which system.
Marketing and sales tend to live in HubSpot: campaigns, sequences, the pipeline and the forecast. Without a Syspro login they cannot see what Syspro knows about an account: the orders still open, the credit position, what it bought last quarter, and whether the item a prospect wants is on the shelf. The costly mistakes are small ones, such as a delivery date promised against stock already committed to another order.
The other direction hurts too. A won deal becomes an order that somebody keys into Syspro by hand, retyping the lines and copying the customer’s purchase order number out of an email. Syspro applies its credit policies and contract pricing during order processing, so a useful integration hands the order to that logic instead of working around it.
What syncs
Four objects carry most of the value. Customers from the ArCustomer table become HubSpot companies. Stock codes from InvMaster become products, with quantity on hand per warehouse read through InvWarehouse. Sales orders arrive as deals in an orders pipeline that follows each order’s status, and contacts come from Contact Management where the site uses it.
Direction follows ownership. Syspro owns the customer, the price and the stock, so those move one way and stay read only in HubSpot. The single thing HubSpot writes is a new sales order from a won deal, and only after a person approves it.
Keys are the codes Syspro itself uses, never names. Companies key on the customer code, products on the stock code, deals on the Syspro order number. One trap catches multi-company sites: every OData request names a company in its URL, and each company is its own database. Codes can therefore repeat across companies, so the key carries the company as well, or one company’s customer overwrites another’s.
| | | Direction | Match key | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ArCustomer | Company | Into HubSpot | Customer code, the Customer column, in a custom HubSpot property | Read per company database, since every OData URL names one company. |
| Contact Management contact | Contact | Into HubSpot | Email, with the Syspro customer code as the tie breaker | Only where the site runs Contact Management, which already syncs with Outlook. |
| InvMaster and InvWarehouse | Product | Into HubSpot | Stock code, with quantity on hand held per warehouse | |
| Sales order | Deal | Two way | Syspro sales order number, stored on the deal once the order exists | HubSpot sends only new orders from approved won deals. Syspro owns every later change. |
Architecture
The read side is a polling watermark sync. A service calls Syspro OData over HTTPS with basic authentication, as an OData operator whose generated SQL login can read only the tables the integration needs. Each call returns at most 5,000 rows, so the service pages with $top and $skip, narrows each read with $filter on a date column where the table has one, and checks $count before trusting a result. It then batch upserts into HubSpot on the Syspro codes and runs associations as a separate pass. Watermarks, per company and per table, live in the service.
The write side is a queue. An approved won deal becomes one entry, and an order writer logs on to e.net Solutions through the REST binding of the e.net Communications Load Balancer and gets a session UserID back. It posts the order as SO SALES ORDER IMPORT XML, reads the messages that come back, logs off, and records the outcome on the deal. A reconciliation pass compares Syspro and HubSpot counts on every run.

Three ways to connect
What decides the route here is licensing and release, well before budget. OData needs the Data Connector - OData module and SYSPRO 8 2021 R2 or later. Posting orders needs the e.net functional area that holds the sales order business objects. Confirm both before scoping anything else.
With both in place, a custom API integration reads through OData and writes through e.net, and it keeps Syspro’s own logic in charge of every order it writes. The marketplace app from Commercient is a third-party alternative for a standard mapping, with its runtime and roadmap in Commercient’s hands. Managed sync on Skyvia could read the SQL tables of an on-premises site cheaply, but Syspro Cloud ERP forbids direct database access, and Syspro positions OData as the replacement for it.

Custom API integration
RecommendedA custom API integration reads OData within its 5,000 row pages and posts orders through the SO SALES ORDER IMPORT business object, so Syspro's own logic and security still govern every order.

PossibleThe marketplace app from Commercient suits a standard mapping and a team that wants nobody on call. Its runtime, mapping and roadmap stay with Commercient.

Managed sync on Skyvia
AvoidManaged sync on Skyvia would read Syspro's SQL tables directly. Syspro Cloud ERP forbids that, and Syspro notes that direct access leaves no trace of what was read.
What breaks and how we prevent it
Five thousand rows and no more
Syspro caps an OData call at 5,000 rows for performance and fair use. A read written without paging returns at most 5,000 rows, however large the table. We page every read with $top and $skip, compare each run with a $count, and alert when a table’s total moves more than the day’s changes explain.
One logon per named operator
A named e.net user gets one concurrent logon. A second logon with the same operator either ends the first session or is refused, depending on a logon parameter, so two workers sharing an operator knock each other off. The integration gets its own operator, and one order writer runs at a time.
Warnings that turn into errors
A business object can return warnings as well as errors, and the IgnoreWarnings element decides which is which: N reports every warning as an error. An order that looks complete in HubSpot can come back rejected. We set the element deliberately, attach every message to the deal, and send rejections to a review queue.
Custom form tables named per company
OData names custom form tables with the company as a suffix, so the customer custom form table appears as ArCustomer_edu1 in Syspro’s own examples. A mapping written against one company’s names fails in the next. The service reads the names from each company’s $metadata document at start-up.
Our approach
- Scope. We confirm the release, the OData licence, the e.net functional areas, the company databases and whether the site runs on premises or on Syspro Cloud ERP.
- Architect. We fix the keys per company, the tables and columns each read uses, the paging and date windows, and the approval rule for orders.
- Build. The service is written against a test company, with its own OData operator, its own e.net operator and a portal allowlist from the first commit.
- Validate. We reconcile counts per table and open order values against a Syspro report, then post test orders to see the messages Syspro returns.
- Operate. We watch run counts and the order queue, re-check table access after every Syspro upgrade, and keep replay and reconciliation endpoints ready.
Common questions
Is there a Syspro app in the HubSpot App Marketplace?
Only a third-party one. SYSPRO 7 & 8 SYNC, Data Lake, AI, MCP by Commercient is the single listing named for Syspro, and neither HubSpot nor Syspro publishes an app. Commercient runs and supports it, so its mapping and roadmap sit outside your team. Compare it with a build when your fields are standard and nobody wants to own a runtime.
Which Syspro licences does a HubSpot integration need?
Reading needs the Data Connector - OData module, available from SYSPRO 8 2021 R2, alongside e.net System Manager. Writing orders back needs the e.net functional area that holds the sales order business objects, because Syspro licenses business objects by functional area. Software vendors can also agree a run time product licence that grants read-only OData access without a site licence.
How fresh is Syspro data once it lands in HubSpot?
As fresh as the read schedule, because Syspro has no webhook to announce a change. We usually read hourly, in pages of up to 5,000 rows, which Syspro's OData service allows with no rate limit. A site that needs minutes can use an eSignature trigger to run a script when a transaction completes, and that script can start an early read.
What stops a Syspro order posting twice from one HubSpot deal?
Every approved deal gets exactly one queue entry, keyed on the deal id, and the writer records Syspro's response before anything else. After a timeout, the writer reads back the customer's recent orders through OData and compares them with the deal before trying again. Reads upsert on the order number, so a replayed read updates the same deal.
Can HubSpot connect to Syspro Cloud ERP?
Yes, through OData. Syspro Cloud ERP allows no direct database access by any application or person, so OData is the only way to read its data, and Syspro says the only difference from an on-premises site is the base URL. Tools that read the SQL tables directly work on premises only, so they are no route for a cloud site.
Does an order sent from HubSpot bypass Syspro's own checks?
Not when it goes through a business object, which is Syspro's own business logic packaged for other programs and bound by Syspro's security model. The order is checked by Syspro rather than written around it. Whatever messages Syspro returns, we attach to the deal and route to a person, instead of retrying blindly.
How long does a Syspro and HubSpot integration take to build?
Discovery takes 10 to 20 hours and the build 70 to 150, covering customers, contacts, products and orders read through OData, plus one approved write of new orders. Discovery settles licensing, release, company databases and table access first, because each changes the design more than the object count does.

Our builds run on
How we build
- Sandbox first. We build and test in a sandbox before anything reaches production.
- Fail-closed allowlists. An integration runs only against the HubSpot accounts it is approved for.
- Least-privilege access. Each integration gets only the API scopes it needs.
- Secrets in a vault. Keys and tokens live in a secrets vault, never in plain text.
- Sensitive data scoped early. Discovery covers sensitive data, access controls and any BAA or data-processing needs.
- A compliance package for regulated industries: audit logging, field-level encryption and sensitive-data handling.
