Is there an official Datacor Chempax + HubSpot integration?

No. Datacor publishes no Chempax app for HubSpot, and the HubSpot App Marketplace lists nothing named for Datacor or Chempax as of September 2026. Our recommendation is a custom integration reading the copy of Datacor data that Datacor already maintains for analytics, through DataLab or CRM Premium's nightly warehouse sync, at 70 to 150 build hours. Where neither is licensed, discovery starts by asking Datacor for the API access its IT page describes.

Why teams connect Datacor Chempax to HubSpot

Chemical distributors and blenders buy Datacor because it understands a drum, a tote and a bulk load of the same product, and the safety data sheet that has to travel with each. It prices by customer, container and quantity break, ties every lot to its certificate and its shipment, and prints the placards a truck needs. For years the product was called Chempax, and Datacor renamed it Datacor ERP in 2019.

Datacor also sells a CRM beside it, eChempax until 2019 and Datacor CRM since, which reads pricing, inventory and orders from the ERP directly. Moving marketing and the pipeline to HubSpot gives that up, and the old questions come back. Which accounts are buying less this quarter? What did we charge them for a tote last time? Is the order on the truck? Answering them means moving ERP data into HubSpot on a schedule someone can trust.

The complication is access. Datacor does not publish an API reference, and its support site requires a customer login. What it does describe in public are two copies of the data built for other tools to read: DataLab, a managed data lake with Datacor ERP data pre-loaded, and CRM Premium’s nightly synchronization to your own servers. A HubSpot sync should read one of those rather than the live ERP.

What syncs

Six objects, all flowing into HubSpot. Each Datacor customer maps to a company and its people to contacts, orders map to deals, invoices sit on a custom object, and saleable pack sizes fill the product library.

The sixth object is the one sellers ask for first. Datacor keeps a customer product profile: what each account buys, with the dollars, volumes and margins behind it. On a custom object keyed by customer number and product code, it shows which accounts are buying less without a phone call to inside sales.

Products need a decision. Datacor rolls pack sizes up to a master product for reporting, but a customer orders a drum or a tote, not a master product. The HubSpot product library carries the saleable pack size, keyed on its product code, with the master product as a property for roll-ups.

What stays out is anything regulated: safety data sheets, certificates of analysis, lot genealogy and hazardous material detail. Datacor generates and distributes those under its own controls, and a CRM copy would drift.

Objects that sync between Datacor Chempax and HubSpot
Source object HubSpot object Direction Match key Notes
Customer Company Into HubSpot Datacor customer number held in a unique HubSpot property Ship-to locations stay as properties unless sellers work them separately.
Customer contact Contact Into HubSpot Email, associated through the Datacor customer number
Sales order Deal Into HubSpot Order number Read only in HubSpot. Datacor stays the system of record for the order.
Invoice Custom object Into HubSpot Invoice number, associated to the order
Customer product profile Custom object Into HubSpot Customer number plus product code What an account buys, with the dollars, volumes and margins behind it.
Product Product Into HubSpot Product code of the saleable pack size The master product rides along as a property for roll-up reports.

Architecture

The runtime is a polling watermark sync over the warehouse copy, the reverse ETL guide pattern with Datacor’s pipeline standing in for the warehouse load. Datacor refreshes the copy: CRM Premium daily or nightly, DataLab through managed pipelines under service levels.

Our service connects to the copy with read-only credentials. Before each run it checks when the copy last refreshed, and it stops with an alert if the copy is stale. It then reads rows past a watermark per object and runs batch upserts keyed on Datacor’s numbers, followed by a separate pass that associates contacts, orders, invoices and profiles to their company.

State lives in the service. A replay endpoint re-reads an object for a date range, and a reconciliation endpoint counts rows in the copy against records in HubSpot and reports the difference rather than fixing it quietly. The live ERP never sees a query from us.

Datacor's managed pipeline refreshes a warehouse copy of the ERP, and a sync service reads rows past each object's watermark, upserts them on Datacor numbers, links them in a separate pass and reconciles counts against the copy.

Three ways to connect

What decides the route here is which copy of the data your licence includes. With DataLab or CRM Premium in place, a service reads the copy and the build is predictable, once discovery confirms which tables the copy holds. With neither, discovery asks Datacor two questions: what API access sits behind its open API statement, and whether a scheduled report export can land on an SFTP drop. The answers set the route and the price.

A managed sync on Skyvia is the lighter option when the CRM Premium warehouse sits on your own database server. It suits a fixed mapping of a few objects, and it runs out of room when customer product profiles and pack sizes need logic between the read and the write.

  • Managed sync on Skyvia

    Possible

Where CRM Premium's warehouse sits on your own database server, a Skyvia agent can read it and load a fixed mapping nightly, for a team that wants no service to host and can live with fewer objects.

  • Marketplace app

    Avoid

Nothing in the HubSpot App Marketplace is named for Datacor or Chempax, and the CRM Datacor connects to its ERP out of the box is its own.

What breaks and how we prevent it

One product, a dozen pack sizes

A chemical sold in pails, drums, totes and bulk can appear as several product codes under one master product. Sync the master product and every line item is wrong. Sync every code with no structure and sellers drown in near duplicates. We load the saleable pack sizes, carry the master product as a property, and agree the list with sales before the first run.

Two CRMs editing one contact

Where Datacor CRM stays in use, its reps and HubSpot’s users both edit contacts, and the last write wins in each system. We give every field one owner, send contacts one way from Datacor, and keep marketing preferences in HubSpot, where Datacor never writes.

A warehouse copy that stops refreshing

If the nightly synchronization fails, the copy keeps answering queries with yesterday’s data, and so does HubSpot. Nothing errors. We read the copy’s own refresh time before every run, and a stale copy stops the run and raises an alert rather than loading old news as new.

Regulatory documents copied into deals

Attaching the safety data sheet or certificate to a deal looks helpful, and it creates an uncontrolled copy that goes stale at the next revision. We leave those documents in Datacor, which distributes them with each shipment, and give the deal the order status and a way back to the source.

Our approach

  1. Scope. We confirm the Datacor version, which warehouse copy you license and what it holds, and whether Datacor CRM stays beside HubSpot.
  2. Architect. We fix the six objects, the Datacor number that keys each, the pack size rule and the owner of every contact field.
  3. Build. The service is written against the warehouse copy and a HubSpot sandbox, with read-only credentials and a portal allowlist.
  4. Validate. We compare counts and open order values with Datacor’s reports, then review the product profiles with a seller before cutover.
  5. Operate. We watch refresh times and run history, replay what a late copy missed, and re-check the mapping when Datacor upgrades.

Common questions

Does Datacor publish an API for Chempax?

Not publicly. Datacor's page for IT teams describes open APIs and a modular architecture, but no API reference is published, and Datacor's support site requires a customer login. The documented ways data leaves are DataLab, CRM Premium's nightly warehouse sync and report exports. Discovery asks Datacor which of these, or which API access, your licence includes.

Is Datacor ERP the same product as Chempax?

Yes. Datacor renamed Chempax to Datacor ERP in 2019, and renamed its web CRM, eChempax, to Datacor CRM at the same time. Its product page still carries both names. Older installations may be on one of two earlier lines, Chempax C/S or ChempaxVB.NET, so discovery confirms which version you run before anyone maps a field.

Should we keep Datacor CRM if sales moves to HubSpot?

Only with one owner per record. Datacor CRM reads ERP pricing, inventory and orders without a sync, which HubSpot cannot. If both systems stay, Datacor CRM keeps quotes and pricing, HubSpot keeps marketing and the pipeline, and contacts flow one way. Two CRMs editing the same contact overwrite each other, and nobody can then say which version is right.

Which Datacor records should stay out of HubSpot?

Safety data sheets, certificates of analysis, lot genealogy and the DOT detail on a bill of lading. Datacor generates and distributes those documents with each shipment under its own controls, and a copy in a CRM goes stale the first time a document is revised. HubSpot can carry the order and shipment status and link a rep back to Datacor.

How fresh is Datacor data in HubSpot?

As fresh as the warehouse copy the sync reads. CRM Premium synchronizes its warehouse daily or nightly, and DataLab runs managed pipelines under service levels that Datacor does not publish. Plan on HubSpot showing yesterday's orders and invoices, which answers most account questions, and on a custom service where a team needs order status within the hour.

What happens if a Datacor warehouse refresh arrives late or twice?

A late refresh delays HubSpot and never corrupts it. The sync checks the copy's own refresh time before it runs, alerts when the copy is stale, and reads only rows past each object's watermark. Every write is an upsert keyed on a Datacor number, so a repeated refresh updates the same records rather than creating new ones.

What does a Datacor and HubSpot integration take?

Allow 10 to 20 hours of discovery and 70 to 150 hours of build for six objects, per-object watermarks, a replay endpoint and a reconciliation report. Discovery settles three things: which warehouse copy you license, how the customer product profile should look to a seller, and whether Datacor CRM stays beside HubSpot or retires.

Trust and compliance

We design integrations to support the security and privacy rules your business works under, and we build them on independently audited platforms.

How we build

  • Sandbox first. We build and test in a sandbox before anything reaches production.
  • Fail-closed allowlists. An integration runs only against the HubSpot accounts it is approved for.
  • Least-privilege access. Each integration gets only the API scopes it needs.
  • Secrets in a vault. Keys and tokens live in a secrets vault, never in plain text.
  • Sensitive data scoped early. Discovery covers sensitive data, access controls and any BAA or data-processing needs.
  • A compliance package for regulated industries: audit logging, field-level encryption and sensitive-data handling.
