HubSpot + DELMIAWorks integration

DELMIAWorks, once IQMS, keeps ERP, MES and a CRM in one database for mid-market plants. How its orders reach HubSpot when the interface docs are private.

Is there an official DELMIAWorks + HubSpot integration?

Not from HubSpot or Dassault Systèmes. As of September 2026 the HubSpot App Marketplace lists one third-party app, DELMIAWorks SYNC, Data Lake, AI, MCP by Commercient. We recommend a custom integration that loads a scheduled DELMIAWorks export into HubSpot, at 70 to 150 build hours. Dassault keeps the technical documentation behind its customer login, so the export's exact shape is settled in discovery, under your access.

Why teams connect DELMIAWorks to HubSpot

DELMIAWorks is the manufacturing ERP Dassault Systèmes sells to small and mid-sized manufacturers, the product once called IQMS, which Dassault acquired in 2019. It keeps ERP and MES in one shared database, so the order, the production run, the quality record and the shipment sit together. Its customers are mostly discrete manufacturers, in plastics, automotive, aerospace, medical devices and industrial equipment, and it carries a CRM module of its own that logs calls, quotes and meetings against that same database.

Marketing and sales teams at these companies often run HubSpot for forms, email nurture, web analytics and the pipeline. That leaves the account’s operational truth in DELMIAWorks: what the customer has on order, what shipped, which invoice is overdue and which return is still open. A seller preparing for a call asks customer service, who has the answer on screen.

Two facts shape this project more than any field does. Dassault keeps the DELMIAWorks knowledge base and user community behind customer logins, so the interface details are read with your credentials during discovery. And DELMIAWorks can run on your own servers, on Dassault’s hosted and managed service in AWS, or in a data centre of your choosing, and each of those changes who can schedule what.

What syncs

Six records do the work, and together they answer the questions sellers bring to customer service. Customers become HubSpot companies and contacts become contacts. Sales orders, shipments and invoices land as custom objects on the company, and open returns become tickets, so service sees them beside the conversation.

Nothing flows back in a first build. DELMIAWorks’ own CRM, quoting and EDI modules already maintain customers and take orders inside the ERP, and a second writer would compete with them. Orders that arrive by EDI never passed through a HubSpot deal, which is why orders live on the company rather than on deals: the company shows the whole order book, not only the orders sales touched.

Keys are the numbers DELMIAWorks issues, carried in the export and held in custom HubSpot properties: customer, order, shipment, invoice and RMA numbers. Names are for people to read. Contacts match on email, with the customer number breaking the tie when two contacts share an address.

Objects that sync between DELMIAWorks and HubSpot
Source object HubSpot object Direction Match key Notes
Customer Company Into HubSpot DELMIAWorks customer number, in a custom HubSpot property DELMIAWorks CRM already logs this customer's calls and quotes, so ownership is agreed field by field.
Contact Contact Into HubSpot Email, with the customer number as the tie breaker
Sales order Custom object Into HubSpot Sales order number, associated to the company Orders that arrive by EDI never passed through a HubSpot deal, so every order lives on the company.
Shipment Custom object Into HubSpot Shipment number, associated to its sales order
Invoice Custom object Into HubSpot Invoice number, associated to the company and the order
RMA Ticket Into HubSpot RMA number An open return becomes a ticket, so service sees it beside the conversation.

Architecture

The pattern is an SFTP extract, transform and load, because it is the one shape that works in every DELMIAWorks deployment before anyone has read the licensed documentation. Your DELMIAWorks administrator, or Dassault’s implementation team, schedules an export that writes one file per object and a manifest of row counts to an SFTP drop. If the documentation shows a better interface for your release, it can replace the file later without changing the HubSpot side.

Our load service collects each file, hashes it so a repeat is skipped, checks its columns against the agreed contract and quarantines rows that fail, with a reason. It then batch upserts on the DELMIAWorks numbers and runs a separate association pass: contacts, orders and tickets to companies, shipments and invoices to orders. Rows loaded are reconciled against the manifest on every run, and a replay endpoint reloads any file on request.

A scheduled export from DELMIAWorks writes one file per object and a manifest to an SFTP drop. A load service validates each file, quarantines bad rows, upserts companies, contacts, custom objects and tickets into HubSpot on DELMIAWorks numbers, and reconciles every run against the manifest.

Three ways to connect

The deciding fact is that DELMIAWorks’ interfaces are documented only to licensed customers. Any route, packaged or built, starts with somebody reading that documentation under your login and confirming what an export or an interface can carry.

A custom integration fed by a scheduled export is the route we recommend. It works on premises, on the hosted service and in a third-party data centre, and it keeps the keys, the delete signal and the reconciliation under our control. The marketplace app from Commercient is a third-party alternative for a standard mapping, with its runtime and roadmap outside your team. An iPaaS has no public DELMIAWorks interface to call, so it faces the same discovery and then bills per task.

  • Marketplace app

    Possible

The marketplace app from Commercient suits a standard mapping. Its runtime, mapping and roadmap sit with Commercient rather than your team.

  • iPaaS

    Avoid

Dassault documents no DELMIAWorks interface publicly, so an iPaaS faces the same discovery a build does, and then bills per task.

What breaks and how we prevent it

Interface documents behind a login

DELMIAWorks’ knowledge base and user community need customer credentials, so an estimate made before anyone reads them is a guess. We scope with your administrator, read the relevant articles under your login during discovery, and confirm the build band only once the export contract is signed off.

Hosted, managed or on premises

The same DELMIAWorks can run on your servers, on Dassault’s hosted and managed service in AWS, or in a third-party data centre. Who schedules the export, where it may write and which firewall it crosses differ in each. We establish the deployment first and test the route to the SFTP drop before the first run.

Orders that arrive by EDI

DELMIAWorks’ EDI module brings customer orders straight into the ERP, with no HubSpot deal behind them. Revenue reported from deals misses them entirely. We sync every order to a custom object on the company and report the order book from there, whatever channel the order came through.

Two activity histories for one account

DELMIAWorks CRM records calls, notes and meetings against customers and suppliers, and HubSpot records its own. Two histories then grow side by side, each incomplete. We decide which system logs sales activity, leave service calls where they are, and sync account data rather than activity.

Our approach

  1. Scope. We establish the deployment, the release and who can schedule an export, and we read the relevant documentation under your login.
  2. Architect. We write the file contract: objects, columns, keys, the delete signal, the schedule and the manifest, plus the SFTP route.
  3. Build. The load service is written against sample exports, into a HubSpot sandbox with a portal allowlist from the first commit.
  4. Validate. We reconcile each file against its manifest, then compare open orders and invoice totals with DELMIAWorks reports.
  5. Operate. We watch every run, replay any file on request, and re-check the contract whenever DELMIAWorks is upgraded.

Common questions

Does DELMIAWorks have an app in the HubSpot App Marketplace?

A third-party one. DELMIAWorks SYNC, Data Lake, AI, MCP by Commercient is the single listing named for it, and neither HubSpot nor Dassault Systèmes publishes an app. A search for IQMS finds nothing named for it either. Commercient runs and supports its app, so compare its mapping with the orders, shipments and invoices your sellers need.

Is DELMIAWorks the same product as IQMS?

Yes. Dassault Systèmes acquired IQMS in 2019, and the IQMS manufacturing ERP is now known as DELMIAWorks. A HubSpot integration scoped for an older IQMS installation follows the same design, although the release in front of you decides which interfaces its documentation describes and what an export can carry.

Where is the DELMIAWorks API documented?

Behind Dassault's customer login. DELMIAWorks support resources, including a knowledge base of more than 15,000 articles, need customer credentials, and the user community needs a 3DEXPERIENCE login. We read what applies during discovery under your access, and design around a scheduled export until that reading shows a better interface.

How current is DELMIAWorks data in HubSpot on a scheduled export?

As current as the schedule. We start nightly and move orders and shipments to hourly once the feed is stable, which is fresh enough for a seller preparing a call. A customer who wants order status this minute still gets it from DELMIAWorks itself, or from its customer web portal.

Should DELMIAWorks CRM or HubSpot own customer contacts?

Neither outright. DELMIAWorks owns the account and anything customer service relies on, and HubSpot owns marketing consent and the pipeline before an order exists. We write that rule down per field, and move contacts one way into HubSpot until both teams agree the rule holds in daily use.

Does DELMIAWorks hosting change a HubSpot integration?

It changes who schedules the export and which network it crosses. DELMIAWorks runs on premises, on HMS, Dassault's hosted and managed service on AWS, or in a data centre you choose. On premises your team schedules it, and on HMS it is arranged with the team that runs the service. The HubSpot side is identical in all three.

What happens when a DELMIAWorks export file is incomplete?

It is held back rather than half loaded. Every export arrives with a manifest of row counts, so a short file fails its check before any row reaches HubSpot. A second copy of the same file is recognized by its hash and skipped, failing rows wait in quarantine with a reason, and the corrected file goes back through the replay endpoint.

What does a DELMIAWorks and HubSpot integration take in hours?

Scoping takes 10 to 20 hours and the build 70 to 150 hours: the load service, six record types, the association pass and reconciliation. Discovery includes reading the licensed documentation with your administrator, because the export's shape, and who can schedule it, depend on the release and the hosting.

Trust and compliance

We design integrations to support the security and privacy rules your business works under, and we build them on independently audited platforms.

How we build

  • Sandbox first. We build and test in a sandbox before anything reaches production.
  • Fail-closed allowlists. An integration runs only against the HubSpot accounts it is approved for.
  • Least-privilege access. Each integration gets only the API scopes it needs.
  • Secrets in a vault. Keys and tokens live in a secrets vault, never in plain text.
  • Sensitive data scoped early. Discovery covers sensitive data, access controls and any BAA or data-processing needs.
  • A compliance package for regulated industries: audit logging, field-level encryption and sensitive-data handling.
