HubSpot + Global Shop Solutions integration

Global Shop Solutions quotes, schedules and ships the job in one ERP, and its own team rates HubSpot a heavy integration. What a file feed carries.

Is there an official Global Shop Solutions + HubSpot integration?

Not from HubSpot, and not as a packaged app from Global Shop Solutions. As of September 2026 the HubSpot App Marketplace lists one third-party app, Global Shop Solutions SYNC, Data Lake, AI, MCP by Commercient, while Global Shop lists HubSpot as a one-off project for its own team. We recommend a custom integration that loads a scheduled export from the ERP into HubSpot, at 70 to 150 build hours, because Global Shop publishes no public API reference.

Why teams connect Global Shop Solutions to HubSpot

Global Shop Solutions sells one ERP for manufacturers, with estimating and quoting, scheduling, shop floor data, shipping and accounting in the same system, on premises or in a cloud Global Shop hosts on AWS. A won quote becomes a sales order in that system, and the prospect becomes a customer at the same moment. A CRM module keeps opportunities, contacts, campaigns and invoice history beside it.

Marketing and a growing sales team often standardize on HubSpot anyway, for forms, sequences, web tracking and a forecast they can share. Once they do, the truth about each account stays behind in Global Shop, and sellers lose sight of open quotes, job status, shipments and overdue invoices unless they ask the office. The office answers by phone and email, usually after the conversation that needed the answer has already happened.

Global Shop treats the connection as real work. Its integrations page lists HubSpot with a cost rating of four out of five and an effort rating of five out of five, and its own team describes building a one-off integration for every customer. That is a fair warning. Most of the effort goes on agreeing what moves where and who writes each side, and the design below is how we spend it.

What syncs

Five records carry the relationship. Customers become HubSpot companies and their contacts become contacts. Quotes become deals, so the pipeline shows what estimating has out. Sales orders and invoices land as custom objects on the company, where a seller can see what is open and what is overdue.

Everything moves one way, into HubSpot. Global Shop converts a won quote into a sales order and a prospect into a customer by itself, and a second writer would only compete with that logic. Where a team wants HubSpot to originate quotes, that is a separate phase with its own import, written on the ERP side.

Keys come from the export: the customer, quote, order and invoice numbers Global Shop issues, each held in a custom HubSpot property. Names are for people to read. Contacts match on email, with the customer number as the tie breaker when two contacts share one address.

Objects that sync between Global Shop Solutions and HubSpot
Source object HubSpot object Direction Match key Notes
Customer Company Into HubSpot Global Shop customer number, in a custom HubSpot property Global Shop converts a prospect to a customer when a quote is won, so the company follows that change.
Contact Contact Into HubSpot Email, with the customer number as the tie breaker
Quote Deal Into HubSpot Quote number The quote status drives the deal stage, so the pipeline shows what estimating has out.
Sales order Custom object Into HubSpot Sales order number, associated to the company and its quote
Invoice Custom object Into HubSpot Invoice number, associated to the company Open and overdue invoices are what sellers ask the office about most.

Architecture

The pattern is an SFTP extract, transform and load. On the ERP side, a program written in GAB, Global Shop’s SDK, runs on a schedule and writes one file per object plus a manifest of row counts. Global Shop’s team or your own GAB developer writes it, and Global Shop says most customers keep an expert of their own to own an integration once it runs.

The files land on an SFTP drop. Our load service collects each one, hashes it so a repeated delivery is skipped, checks its columns against the agreed contract, and moves rows that fail validation to a quarantine with a reason. Clean rows go into HubSpot as batch upserts on the Global Shop numbers, followed by a separate association pass that links contacts, quotes, orders and invoices to their companies. The manifest doubles as the reconciliation: rows loaded against rows exported, reported on every run.

A GAB program in Global Shop Solutions writes one file per object and a manifest to an SFTP drop on a schedule. A load service validates each file, quarantines bad rows, upserts companies, contacts, deals and custom objects into HubSpot on Global Shop's numbers, and reconciles every run against the manifest.

Three ways to connect

The first question is who writes the ERP side, because Global Shop publishes no public API reference and treats every integration as a one-off. Either its Continuous Improvement Team writes that side, or your own GAB developer does.

A custom integration puts the export behind a load service we build and run, so the keys, the delete signal and the reconciliation are ours to guarantee, and it is the route we recommend. Global Shop’s team can also build the whole link, which suits a business that wants one vendor for both sides. The marketplace app from Commercient is the third option, for a standard mapping, with its runtime and roadmap outside your control.

  • Marketplace app

    Possible

The marketplace app from Commercient suits a standard mapping and a team that wants no runtime of its own. Its mapping and roadmap stay with Commercient.

  • iPaaS

    Avoid

An iPaaS still needs an interface on the ERP side that somebody writes in GAB, then bills per task on top of that work.

What breaks and how we prevent it

Quotes won while deals stay open

Global Shop creates the sales order when a quote is won. If sellers also move the deal by hand, the quote and the deal drift apart. We let the quote status drive the deal stage from the feed, and a workflow flags any manual change to an ERP-owned stage for review.

A second CRM inside the ERP

Global Shop’s CRM holds customers, prospects, opportunities and contacts, and HubSpot will hold them too. Two systems then keep the same contact, each certain it is right. We settle ownership field by field before building: Global Shop for the account and its terms, HubSpot for consent and the pipeline before a quote exists.

An export only one person understands

Global Shop says most customers maintain integrations through an expert of their own, so the export often lives in one person’s GAB program. When that person moves on, the file changes shape. We write the file contract down, keep the program under version control, and fail any run whose columns break it.

The cloud firewall you control

On Global Shop’s Cloud ERP, Global Shop manages the servers in AWS while the cloud firewall is under your control. Whether the export may reach an outside SFTP drop is therefore a rule you set. We agree the route with you and Global Shop in discovery, and test it before the first scheduled run.

Our approach

  1. Scope. We meet your Global Shop administrator, and Global Shop’s team where needed, to settle the hosting, the records and who writes the export.
  2. Architect. We write the file contract: columns, keys, the delete signal, the schedule and the manifest, plus the SFTP route.
  3. Build. The load service is written against sample files, into a HubSpot sandbox with a portal allowlist from the first commit.
  4. Validate. We reconcile every file against its manifest and compare open quotes and invoice totals with Global Shop reports.
  5. Operate. We watch each run, keep a replay endpoint for any file, and re-check the contract whenever Global Shop is upgraded or the export changes.

Common questions

Does Global Shop Solutions have an app in the HubSpot App Marketplace?

Only from a third party. The single listing named for it is Global Shop Solutions SYNC, Data Lake, AI, MCP by Commercient, and neither HubSpot nor Global Shop Solutions publishes an app. Commercient runs and supports it, so check its mapping against your quote, order and invoice fields before choosing it over a build.

What does Global Shop Solutions say about connecting to HubSpot?

Its CRM page lists HubSpot among the CRM integrations it supports, and its integrations page rates a HubSpot integration four out of five for cost and five out of five for effort. Global Shop describes each integration as a one-off built for that customer, and asks you to discuss the details with its team.

How current is Global Shop Solutions data in HubSpot on a file feed?

As current as the export schedule. We usually start nightly and move quotes and orders to hourly once the feed is stable. The file route trades some freshness for a feed that behaves the same on premises and on Global Shop's cloud, and it asks nothing of the ERP but a scheduled program and a file drop.

What if a Global Shop Solutions export arrives twice or half written?

Nothing reaches HubSpot. Each file is hashed, so a repeated delivery is skipped, and each run carries a manifest of row counts, so a file shorter than its manifest is held back rather than loaded. Rows that fail validation go to quarantine with a reason, and the replay endpoint reloads a corrected file once someone fixes it.

Can HubSpot create a sales order in Global Shop Solutions?

Not in a first build. Global Shop already turns a won quote into a sales order and a prospect into a customer, and a second writer would compete with that logic. Global Shop describes importing CRM quotes for Salesforce users so they convert into orders, so its team can build the same import for HubSpot as a second phase.

Does Global Shop Solutions Cloud ERP change the integration?

Only in where the export runs and how it leaves. On Cloud ERP, Global Shop hosts and manages the servers in AWS, and the cloud firewall is under your control. The export runs on Global Shop's servers, and the route to our SFTP drop is a firewall rule you approve. The load service and the HubSpot side stay the same.

How many hours does a Global Shop Solutions and HubSpot integration take?

Expect 10 to 20 hours of discovery, then 70 to 150 hours to build the load service, five record types, the association pass and reconciliation. The export on the Global Shop side is separate work, written in GAB by Global Shop's team or your developer, and discovery agrees its contract before either side writes code.

Trust and compliance

We design integrations to support the security and privacy rules your business works under, and we build them on independently audited platforms.

How we build

  • Sandbox first. We build and test in a sandbox before anything reaches production.
  • Fail-closed allowlists. An integration runs only against the HubSpot accounts it is approved for.
  • Least-privilege access. Each integration gets only the API scopes it needs.
  • Secrets in a vault. Keys and tokens live in a secrets vault, never in plain text.
  • Sensitive data scoped early. Discovery covers sensitive data, access controls and any BAA or data-processing needs.
  • A compliance package for regulated industries: audit logging, field-level encryption and sensitive-data handling.
