Is there an official Cegid + HubSpot integration?

No. Cegid has no app in the HubSpot App Marketplace as of September 2026, and the one result for the name is a generic ERP connector from another developer. The route we recommend is a custom integration: for Cegid Retail, a load service reading scheduled customer and sales exports through Cegid's file exchange service, and for XRP Flex, the API access your Cegid partner arranges, at 70 to 150 build hours.

Why teams connect Cegid to HubSpot

Cegid is several products, and the first scoping question is which one you run. Cegid Retail is a point of sale and unified commerce platform for specialty retailers, sold internationally. Cegid XRP Flex is a cloud ERP for mid-sized companies, presented on Cegid’s French site, in French. Cegid’s Canadian site offers its retail and HR software rather than its ERP, so a North American team meets XRP Flex, if at all, through a French parent or subsidiary. Cegid Business, its invoicing and stock software for very small businesses in France, is a separate product this page does not cover.

For a retailer, the reason to connect is the customer. Cegid Retail knows who bought what, in which store, on which loyalty card, and whether they agreed to be contacted. HubSpot is where marketing wants that customer, segmented by what they buy, and where a trade or wholesale team wants its company accounts. Without a connection, marketing works from exported spreadsheets and the consent record stays at the till.

For a business on XRP Flex, the ask is the usual ERP one: show the sales team in HubSpot what an account has ordered and whether it has paid. The difficulty is documentation. Cegid Retail publishes its technical notes in English on a public portal. XRP Flex does not appear on Cegid’s public developer portal, so its API reference comes through Cegid or the partner who implemented it.

What syncs

For Cegid Retail, five records do the work. Individual-type customers, the ones used for retail sales, become HubSpot contacts, and company-type customers, used for trade sales, become companies. Sales documents from closed days land on a custom object associated to the customer. Loyalty cards travel as properties on the card holder’s contact, and items become HubSpot products.

The key is the Cegid customer code, held in a custom HubSpot property, and never the email address. Cegid takes an email in two parts, the identifier and the domain, and flags addresses it considers invalid. Where the retailer enforces unique EAN codes on customers, the EAN code is a second key worth carrying. Cegid also offers an external reference field on the customer, unique when filled, which is the right place for the HubSpot record id if the connection ever writes back.

Consent moves with the record. Each customer carries a privacy setting that says whether the brand, a partner or nobody may use their contact details, and that setting has to drive the HubSpot subscription status rather than stay behind in Cegid.

Objects that sync between Cegid and HubSpot
Source object HubSpot object Direction Match key Notes
Customer, individual type Contact Into HubSpot Cegid customer code held in a custom HubSpot property The customer's privacy choice travels with the record and sets the subscription status.
Customer, company type Company Into HubSpot Cegid customer code Cegid uses company-type customers for trade sales.
Sales document from a closed day Custom object Into HubSpot Store, document type and number from the export A receipt is history rather than a pipeline record, so it sits beside the contact.
Loyalty card Contact Into HubSpot Card number, stored on the card holder's contact
Item Product Into HubSpot Item code

Architecture

The shape is a file pipeline. Cegid Retail’s export module writes customers, items, documents and payments to ASCII files, in a fixed layout or with a field separator, and user-defined exports run a query of your own for anything else, such as loyalty cards. Cegid’s guidance is to export only integral data: a day’s sales once that day is closed.

On a SaaS tenant, FTP is not available. Files move through Retail File Exchange, which Cegid built on Azure Blob Storage to replace its older CGFT component, due to be retired at the end of 2026. Exported files land in an out folder, and our service collects them with a bearer token from Cegid’s authentication server and a short-lived storage key.

The load service hashes each file so a repeat is ignored, validates the rows, quarantines failures with a reason, and batch upserts HubSpot on the customer code before a separate association pass. A reconciliation compares row counts with what landed. The schedule avoids Cegid’s 01:00 to 03:00 maintenance window, and the service caches its token and storage key rather than reconnecting more often than every five minutes, as Cegid asks.

Cegid Retail exports customers and closed sales days to its Retail File Exchange service, and a load service collects each file with a token from Cegid's authentication server, validates it and upserts HubSpot on the customer code before an association pass.

Three ways to connect

For Cegid, the route follows the product more than the budget. On Cegid Retail, a scheduled export through Retail File Exchange is the dependable backbone, because Cegid documents it, supports it on SaaS and says how to run it without slowing the tills. A business that already runs MuleSoft can carry that transfer itself, since Cegid’s file exchange guide includes a MuleSoft example, but the validation and the HubSpot mapping still need building. The web services, SOAP with OAuth 2.0 tokens on current releases, suit narrower jobs such as looking up one customer on demand.

On XRP Flex, the first step is asking your Cegid partner what API access they will arrange, since the reference is not public. For either product, there is no marketplace app to fall back on.

  • iPaaS

    Possible

Cegid's file exchange guide includes a MuleSoft example for paging through its storage, so a business that already runs MuleSoft can carry the transfer. The validation, the consent mapping and the HubSpot writes still need building.

  • Marketplace app

    Avoid

Nothing in the HubSpot App Marketplace is named for Cegid. The one result for the name is a generic ERP connector from another developer, and Cegid does not appear in its name.

What breaks and how we prevent it

Exporting an open sales day

Cegid warns against exporting the current day’s sales, because sales can be added between the start and the end of the export. A feed that runs at noon loads a partial day and never corrects it. We schedule the sales export after the day closes and key each file on its sales date, so a rerun replaces rather than adds.

SaaS Advanced’s three files a minute

Retail File Exchange accepts at most 3 files a minute on a SaaS Advanced tenant, against 100 on SaaS Dedicated, and stops issuing storage keys once 10,000 files are waiting. A design that writes a file per record stalls. We group records into fewer, larger files, as Cegid recommends, and put the date and time in every file name.

Fictitious customers in the customer file

Cegid Retail uses fictitious customer records as the third party on transfers, inventory discrepancies and special movements, and they sit in the same customer file as real people. We exclude them by their fictitious flag before loading, or they arrive in HubSpot as contacts who never bought anything.

A customer’s privacy setting in Cegid says whether the brand, a partner or nobody may use their contact details. Copy the email without it and a customer who refused can land on a marketing list. We map the setting to the HubSpot subscription status on every load, and a refusal in Cegid always wins.

Duplicates from offline tills

In standalone mode, a till skips the uniqueness check on customer EAN codes, and Cegid runs that check only once the connection returns. A customer created twice in that window reaches HubSpot twice. We compare EAN codes and customer codes after each load and hold suspected pairs for review.

Our approach

  1. Scope. We establish which Cegid product and deployment you run, SaaS Advanced, SaaS Dedicated or on premises, and whether exports already flow through Retail File Exchange.
  2. Architect. We fix the export files, their layout and schedule, the customer code key, the consent mapping and the exclusions, and agree them with whoever administers Cegid.
  3. Build. The load service is written against Cegid’s test environment and a HubSpot sandbox, with a portal allowlist from the first commit.
  4. Validate. We load a closed week, reconcile customers and documents against Cegid’s own counts, and check consent on a sample with the marketing lead.
  5. Operate. We watch every run, re-agree the export after each Cegid release, and move any remaining CGFT flow to Retail File Exchange.

Common questions

Is there a Cegid app in the HubSpot App Marketplace?

No. A HubSpot App Marketplace search for Cegid in September 2026 returned one result, a generic ERP connector from another developer whose name does not include Cegid. There is nothing to install. The dependable route is a custom integration built on Cegid Retail's documented export and file exchange tools, or on API access your Cegid partner arranges for XRP Flex.

Is Cegid's technical documentation available in English?

For Cegid Retail, yes. Its documentation portal publishes functional and technical notes in English and French, including the web service examples, the authentication server and the Retail File Exchange guide. XRP Flex is different: its product pages are in French, and Cegid's public developer portal lists no XRP Flex API, so the reference comes from Cegid or the implementing partner.

How does an integration authenticate to Cegid Retail?

With OAuth 2.0 on current releases. Cegid's authentication server issues tokens against a client id and secret that Cegid provides, using the client credentials grant for server-to-server work. An access token lasts an hour by default, so the service caches it, as Cegid advises, and requests the next one before it expires. Cegid's older web service examples use Basic authentication with a login and password instead.

How fresh can Cegid Retail sales data be in HubSpot?

About a day behind, by design. Cegid's export guidance is to export a day's sales only once that day is closed, because sales can be added while an export of an open day is running. So HubSpot sees the previous day's receipts each morning. Customer records can move more often, within the limits Cegid's file exchange sets on files per minute.

Does Cegid Retail send a webhook when a customer changes?

Not for customers or sales, in the documentation we read. The one documented webhook belongs to the Cegid Retail Y2 e-Wallet, which posts an event when a customer installs or removes a wallet pass so a CRM can update the profile. That is worth wiring into HubSpot as a contact property. Customer and sales changes still travel in the scheduled exports.

Can we connect Cegid XRP Flex to HubSpot?

Yes, but the API reference is not public. Cegid's developer portal lists APIs for its accounting, data access, expense, HR and e-invoicing products, not for XRP Flex, and Cegid's partner portals sit behind a sign-in. Scoping starts with your Cegid partner confirming what access they will arrange. With that settled, the build follows the same keyed pattern as any mid-market ERP.

How long does a Cegid and HubSpot integration take?

Set aside 10 to 20 hours of discovery and 70 to 150 hours of build for customers, trade accounts, sales documents, loyalty cards and items on a file pipeline with validation, quarantine and reconciliation. For XRP Flex, discovery sits at the top of that band, because API access has to be arranged with the partner before the object list can be settled.

Trust and compliance

We design integrations to support the security and privacy rules your business works under, and we build them on independently audited platforms.

How we build

  • Sandbox first. We build and test in a sandbox before anything reaches production.
  • Fail-closed allowlists. An integration runs only against the HubSpot accounts it is approved for.
  • Least-privilege access. Each integration gets only the API scopes it needs.
  • Secrets in a vault. Keys and tokens live in a secrets vault, never in plain text.
  • Sensitive data scoped early. Discovery covers sensitive data, access controls and any BAA or data-processing needs.
  • A compliance package for regulated industries: audit logging, field-level encryption and sensitive-data handling.

Scope a Cegid integration

Send the systems, the direction and the record volume. We reply with a scope and an effort band within one business day.

  • Cegid

Type any system and its version, such as Sage 300 or Sage 50. Press Enter or a comma after each one.

Add more detail (optional)

Optional. A sentence or two about the workflow is enough.

We use these answers to scope the work and for nothing else. Privacy policy.
